June 2006
Dear Friends,
How are you all? Well and happy I hope!
As I write this I have just returned from
holiday and have managed to enjoy some time of relaxation, walking and fun time
with friends. It was so nice!!!
I am sure some of you will be looking forward to
a holiday in the next few months. I hope that these will be restful and good
for you too.
The Church though never goes on holiday.
Something which I always feel is a good reminder to us of the constancy of God.
He never takes a break from loving us and wanting the very best for us. He’s
always there for us whether things are going well or not. He’s ready willing
and able to help us no matter what. And the same is true for the Church – it’s
always there for you no matter what. I don’t know about you but I find that
very re-assuring!!
I’m sure many of you will have noticed that the
railings etc are being scraped and painted. This is a big job and as I write
this we are still needing volunteers to help with that – so if you can spare an
hour or two we’d love to see you!!!
Also coming up is our Silent Auction on the 17th
June which I’m sure will be great fun. Please do come along to this and give
the Church your support.
Anyway as we look forward to the summer and
whatever you may be doing, I hope that you will be happy and enjoy it.
Take care of yourselves and God be with you
With love and prayers
